Carlin Bates Stewart has given fans a glimpse into her postpartum life, admitting nights and mornings look very different in her home.
In a new video, the Bringing Up Bates star shared how she and husband Evan “tag team” bedtime duties. “We’ll do the big kids’ bedtime routine, and I will put baby girl to bed,” Carlin explained. But she confessed their youngest still has her “nights and days mixed up.”
Midnight Routines and Tired Parents
The clip showed Carlin rocking her daughter wide awake in the middle of the night. “You hungry? Hungry. Good girl,” she said, joking about how quickly the baby adjusted to her own schedule.
Carlin admitted she keeps a “little caddy by my bed postpartum” but said it was already time for a restock. She added: “See, normally, I leave the baby bassinet on Evan’s side for the first week, and then I like to switch it to mine.”
At one point, she marveled at the baby’s changing looks. “Is it just me or are her eyes looking a little bluish? I’ve never had a blue-eyed baby before.”
The night ended with Carlin quietly telling Siri to “turn off the light” as she tried to settle down.
