Kody Brown is back flaunting his love for luxury. In a new clip from Sister Wives, Kody couldn’t contain his excitement over the new home he shares with Robyn. The TLC star walked through the pristine house, admiring every detail like it was a palace.
“I’m trying to hear the stud to make sure there’s studs in it,” Kody said with a grin before adding, “So nice to have studs. It’s nice to have a stud around. That’s what I mean to do.”
He then turned serious, clearly taken by the property’s high-end look. “There’s some opulence. There’s some beauty here. There’s some magnificence that is really, really special. The clean look of this house, it’s… it’s very… feels great. I mean, like the word just opulence comes to mind,” he gushed.
But while Kody marveled at his surroundings, fans weren’t buying it.

The comments section on TLC’s Instagram post quickly filled with sarcasm. One fan wrote, “It’s got a ‘clean look’ because they didn’t junk it up yet with their paintings everywhere and hoarded crap.” Another added, “How clean is it going to look with 200 dolls and four U-Haul trucks worth of knick knacks in it?”
Others took aim at Kody’s appearance, with one viewer saying, “Is it me or is he aging like milk instead of wine?” The brutal honesty didn’t stop there. A long-time viewer confessed, “I’ve watched Sister Wives since the beginning. I just can’t watch anymore and give Kody ratings.”
A fan made a sharp comment about Kody’s priorities: “Why do they need space for Robyn’s adult children when Kody was so adamant about his own adult children moving out and living on their own?”
