The 55-year-old shared she has been “pushing really hard” for ten days after starting her coaching business. The excitement is “exhilarating,” but it has also made her feel drained.

Sister Wives: “It’s Okay to Rest, Even If It’s a Tuesday”
Janelle Brown reflected on how she learned to equate rest with laziness, something she now realizes isn’t true.
She remembered her grandfathers. They worked hard, but also took time to relax. One would sit on the porch under the stars. The other enjoyed sardines in the shade after mowing the lawn.
“They did take rest,” she admitted. “But we grew up with this idea that you have to work hard all the time or your role in society isn’t fulfilled.”
Fans flooded the comments with praise for Janelle’s honesty and vulnerability.
One wrote, “Rest is good for the mind, body, and soul! So rest.” Another added, “After years of pushing myself, I’ve learned to listen to my body when it’s tired. Protect your peace.”
One fan shared her story. Her German neighbors once asked, “Why do you run to ballet and soccer and basketball every night?” Your kids aren’t going to be professional athletes!”
Janelle’s message clearly hit home.

Sister Wives: Slowing Down to Move Forward
Janelle said she’s still learning to let herself take breaks, even during a busy week.
“It’s okay to rest, even if it’s a Tuesday,” she said. “Wherever you are, maybe it’s Wednesday, maybe it’s Saturday, it’s okay to give yourself permission to take some rest.”
Her post resonated not just for its message, but for its style. She spoke openly and without pretense. It felt like chatting with a friend over coffee.
After years of challenges and growth, Janelle had a clear message: slowing down doesn’t mean giving up.
And judging by the thousands of hearts in her comments, fans are more than ready to follow her lead.
