Christine & Janelle Brown Reveal Untold Holiday Traditions From Sister Wives

The Sister Wives stars took a trip down memory lane, but fans weren’t feeling nostalgic.

In a new TLC clip, Christine Brown and Janelle Brown shared memories of their family holiday celebrations. Each wife brought her own traditions to their shared home.

“As we started to come all together as a family, everybody brought their own traditions,” Janelle said.

Christine shared one of her favorite memories: “The Saturday after Thanksgiving, Robyn would make cookies, decorate them, and we’d watch a movie.” That would be kicking off the Christmas season. I would always decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend.”

Janelle added that the famous pajama tradition came from Meri. “That was something big in Meri’s family,” she explained. “She gave the kids pajamas on Christmas Eve, she even sewed them herself for years.”

Christine continued the tradition for her kids, saying she loved the idea of keeping it going.

Sister Wives: “We Wanted to Be One Family”

Christine shared that their family aimed to do things differently from other plural families.

“In a lot of plural families, the guys would visit from house to house on Christmas Day,” she said. “We decided we weren’t interested in that. We all wanted to get together for Christmas.”

She added, “We just wanted to celebrate being a family. That’s very different from a lot of plural families I’ve seen.”

While the segment painted a picture of unity, Sister Wives fans didn’t hold back in the comments.

Sister Wives: Fans Call Out “Hypocrisy”

One viewer claimed that Robyn is taking over everything, even the family’s key traditions. “Robyn took the turkey, she took the pajamas… oh, and the husband,” one fan wrote, earning hundreds of likes.

Someone questioned Christine’s presence in the interview. They asked, “Why are we still hearing from Christine?” She loathes the family.” Others defended Janelle, calling her “the only one still real.”

One user pointed out how strange the setup once was. “Going to visit your own wives and kids on holidays like they’re not your immediate family is wild,” they wrote.

Who do you miss seeing together the most, Christine, Janelle, or Meri?
