Christine Brown opened up about her calm new life with fiancé David Woolley. She shared why she’s finally ready to stop trying to be friends with Robyn Brown and Meri Brown.
In the latest Sister Wives episode, Christine gave a rare look at her relationship with David. She described it as “simple, calm, and everything I ever wanted.”
“I think I just like the simpleness of our life,” Christine said. “You come home every night, sit in the kitchen while I make dinner, and in the morning we have coffee together. That’s my favorite.”
David agreed, saying he loves their quiet normalcy. They both admit that was impossible in the family’s old plural marriage.
Sister Wives: ‘No Jealousy, No Competition’
Christine Brown confessed she used to keep score in her marriage with Kody Brown.
“It’s embarrassing when I realized how focused I was on Kody,” she said. “I don’t like that I was even doing that.”
David smiled and added, “Now there’s no jealousy. No competition.”
Christine joked about calling David Kody’s name by accident. She said it never happened at an awkward moment.
Sister Wives: ‘Robyn Messed With My Head’
The mood changed when David asked her about her past with her sister wives.
Christine didn’t hold back.
“Janelle’s great. But I feel betrayed by Robyn. Just betrayed,” she said. “I felt like I could never really trust her. There were things I confided in her, and she would tell Kody, and I’d get in trouble.”
Christine added that Robyn “messed with her head,” and even Meri tried to smooth things over.
“Meri called me saying, ‘Can we be friends?’ and I said, ‘Girl, you were mean to me two months ago. No.’”

Sister Wives: Fan Reactions Are Divided
Some viewers feel Christine dwells on the past too much. Others, however, appreciate her honesty.
One user wrote, “Seems like their relationship is centered on the past.” Another said, “This guy knows how to hold a conversation.”
A third joked, “And people want her, Meri, and Janelle to have their own show? That would be so boring.”
Still, many praised Christine for being open about her healing process. One fan commented, “At least she’s finally getting the peace she always wanted.”
Sister Wives: Christine’s New Chapter
Christine seems to have no regrets about leaving the plural family.
“I’m not going to have a friendship with people who are going to do me harm,” she said. “But if Robyn’s kids reach out, I’d love to have a relationship with them.”
What do you think, was Christine right to cut Robyn off for good?
