On Sister Wives, the patriarch finally sat down with Christine Brown to make amends. The plan sounded simple. Say sorry. Get closure. Move on. But the presence of Christine’s new husband, David Woolley, changed everything fast.
Kody Brown Walks In Expecting the Worst
Kody admitted the tension with Christine felt heavier than with Janelle. Christine was the first wife to walk away in 2021. That fact still stings.
“I am walking into an environment where trust has been killed,” Kody said. “We don’t have trust.”
After a smoother apology with Janelle, Kody hoped for grace again. He did not get it.

Kody apologized for how the marriage ended. He admitted he let anger control him.

Kody brought up his claim that he never loved Christine. He said anger fueled that statement.
“I was angry, and that wasn’t cool,” he admitted.
Christine did not let it slide.
“That’s a weird thing to say,” she replied. “I have a husband right here now.”
The moment landed flat. The room shifted.
David Woolley Speaks Up
The preview for the next episode shows David stepping in. Calm. Direct. Uncomfortable.
“You know damn well you loved her,” David told Kody. “You wouldn’t have gotten married or had all these kids if you didn’t.”
Then came the real sting.
“Start with your kids,” David added.
That comment said everything.

Kody traced the apology tour back to the sale of Coyote Pass. Signing papers without speaking exposed how broken things still were.
“I want to set them free,” Kody said. “I want them to stop thinking, talking, being about me.”
Intentions may have been pure. Execution clearly was not.
Robyn’s Quiet Panic
Robyn Brown watched the apology tour with fear. The idea of reconciliation shook her.
