The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is in a serious relationship.
But her castmates are not invited in.
Erika confirmed she has been dating John McPhee for several months.
And no one from RHOBH has met him.
That decision is intentional.
“No one’s met him, and I kind of like it like that,” Erika told Us Weekly.
“I like him, and I know how bad these things are for your relationship.”
She did not hesitate.
She has been through enough.
Why Erika Is Keeping Him Away From Bravo
Erika says reality TV can damage relationships fast.
She knows from experience.
“I’ve gone through too much,” she explained.
“I want to keep that relationship special and over here.”
The separation feels protective.
Almost peaceful.
Her boyfriend has no interest in the spotlight either.
“He’s never seen the show,” Erika revealed.
“He doesn’t know anything about it.”
That alone makes this relationship different.
The Photos Everyone Saw
Fans already spotted the couple together.
They were photographed holding hands outside a nail salon.
The moment went viral.
Erika laughed it off.
“We didn’t know we were going to get manicures and pedicures,” she said.
“That was not part of the plan.”
Despite the photos, the couple has avoided red carpets.
They have not posed together.
They have not played the Bravo game.
That silence feels loud.

How Erika Met John McPhee
Erika met John overseas.
She was in London performing at the Mighty Hoopla music festival.
He was there with Spencer Pratt.
She recognized him instantly.
“I’d seen John on these two podcasts,” Erika said.
“I was like, that’s that guy. I’m gonna walk up and say hello.”
And she did.
She admits she is not built for speed dating.
She prefers instinct.
This time, it worked.
A Calm Relationship After Chaos
Erika is still finalizing her divorce from Tom Girardi.
The legal drama changed her.
Now she wants calm.
“He’s a normal, regular person,” she said.
“He doesn’t live in Los Angeles.”
That matters to her.
She described John as confident, intelligent, and centered.
The opposite of chaos.
“This person is calm,” Erika explained.
“That’s important to me.”
They plan to spend the holidays together.
That says a lot.
Life Beyond Housewives
Erika is not slowing down.
She recently announced her return to DJing under the name DJ Pretty Mess.
Music remains her anchor.
“Music has always been my constant,” she said in October.
“It’s my escape.”
Fans can still see her every week on RHOBH.
But this romance stays off camera.
For now.
