The Real Housewives of Orange County legend Vicki Gunvalson is back.
And she is not just reclaiming her orange.
After being confirmed as a full-time Housewife for Season 20, the OG of the OC shared a surprising life change that long-time viewers didn’t expect.
Coto Insurance may no longer be hers.
Vicki Confirms Coto Insurance Is Going Up for Sale
While backstage at BravoCon 2025, Vicki spoke candidly about her future.
And it was not all Bravo cameras and champagne.
“I’m manifesting enjoying my life more,” she said.
“I’ve been working too hard for too long.”
Then came the jaw dropper.
“My business is going up for sale. I’m still going to be retained as a significant other.”
Fans who saw Vicki grow Coto Insurance from her home office to a full business felt the impact deeply.
This was her identity for nearly two decades.
Why Vicki Is Finally Letting Go
Vicki made it clear this was not about burnout.
It was about freedom.
“I want to do what I want to do,” she said.
“I want to get up. I want to work out more. I want to learn how to dance. I don’t know how to dance.”
She also wants to travel.
And she does not want to work ten hour days anymore.
For the woman who championed financial independence, this is a full circle moment.
She built the empire.
Now she wants her life back.
RHOC Fans May Never See the Office Again
Coto Insurance was a staple of RHOC.
Viewers saw Vicki hustle, cry, and lead meetings. She also brought her son, Michael Wolfsmith, into the business as vice president.
Season 20 could mark the end of that era.
The OG is evolving.
And the timing is no accident.

Vicki and Tamra Make Peace Just in Time
Vicki’s return also comes with another surprise.
Her reconciliation with Tamra Judge.
After a brutal fallout earlier this year, the two reunited publicly in November.
Tamra posted a video of them hugging with the caption, “Reunited and leaving the toxic behind.”
The next day, she added, “My friend. My soulmate. My sister.”
Fans immediately clocked it.
Season 20 energy.

The Firing That Still Haunts Her
Despite the comeback, Vicki has not forgotten how it ended before.
She previously described her 2020 firing as “horrible.”
She learned the news while in Las Vegas and broke down crying on a balcony.
“I think I just got fired,” she remembered saying.
“I thought they had the wrong number.”
That moment never left her.
Neither did the pain of how Bravo handled her mother’s death on camera.
“I will never forgive Bravo for that,” she said bluntly in a past interview.
Why This Return Feels Different
This time, Vicki is not chasing relevance.
Bravo chased her.
Executive producer Andy Cohen gave her an orange onstage. Then, he invited her back.
Full time.
Vicki admitted she thought BravoCon 2025 would be her last goodbye.
Instead, it became her rebirth.
“I miss filming. I missed my girls,” she said.
“I missed the joy of being an Orange County Housewife.”
With a business sale ahead and old friendships mended, Vicki Gunvalson enters Season 20 feeling lighter than ever.
