Sister Wives Star Janelle Brown Reveals Stunning New Home on 156 Acres After Emotional Fresh Start

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown just turned the page on a new chapter of her life.

After years of planning and updates, the reality star moved into her new North Carolina home. The milestone came during what she described as one of the most overwhelming weeks she has had in a long time.

Janelle said the move happened faster than she expected. An unexpected trip to Mexico and closing on the property sped things up. But despite the chaos, she says the moment feels like the beginning of something bigger.

Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Finally Moves Into Her North Carolina Home

The Sister Wives star shared the major update with fans in a video posted to Instagram.

“Ok so last week ended up being one for the books,” Janelle wrote. “I didn’t plan to travel to Mexico the same week I closed on and moved into my house, but it ended up that way.”

The trip took her to Cancun. She went with former sister wife Christine Brown, Christine’s husband David Woolley, and another friend.

The group almost canceled the vacation due to safety concerns.

“We almost didn’t go because of the concerns in the news,” Janelle explained. “But after checking the state department website and watching flights from the Cancun airport we went.”

She returned from the trip and stepped into her new house. It was her first time there as the official homeowner.

“I am tired today and there is so much still left to do,” she wrote. “But I am so happy and so excited.”

Sister Wives: Inside Janelle Brown’s Massive New Home

Janelle also gave fans a full tour of the house.

As soon as she opened the front door, a large open living space appeared. The room features high ceilings and a fireplace.

She then walked into a spacious kitchen with stone countertops and a large center island. The area connects to a dining space with doors leading to an outdoor deck.

The Sister Wives star’s primary bedroom sits toward the front of the house and overlooks the porch.

The attached bathroom includes dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a separate shower.

“Today is the day! My house is finished,” Janelle told fans while showing the empty rooms.

The property sits on a massive 156 acre plot of land.

Sister Wives: A Family Project Years in the Making

The land is not just for Janelle.

She bought the property with her daughter Madison Brush and son in law Caleb Brush. The family has spent the past few years building homes and developing the land together.

Madison and Caleb’s house sits about 100 yards away from Janelle’s home. The houses face each other across the property.

They launched Taeda Farms together. This project aims to create a shared lifestyle centered on the land.

Their motto is simple. “Building beauty from the ground up.”

For Janelle, the property means independence. It’s a fresh start after years of family drama on Sister Wives.

Sister Wives: An Emotional Day For Janelle Brown

The move also carried a deeper emotional meaning.

Janelle revealed she moved into the home on the second anniversary of her son Garrison Brown’s death.

She shared a touching tribute to him on Instagram.

“Hi sweetheart,” she wrote alongside a photo of Garrison in his National Guard uniform. “I’ve felt you around today. This is my favorite picture of you. You were so happy.”

Janelle said she had protected the date on her calendar for weeks because she knew it would be difficult.

But moving into the house helped her focus on the future.

“I think it was the perfect thing,” she explained. “I was so busy but it was also significant to me that today would have signs of the new chapter.”

She ended the message with a promise.

“I love you always Garrison.”
