90 Day Fiancé fans are rallying around Jenny Slatten, and the numbers make that support impossible to miss. The GoFundMe set up for Jenny and her husband, Sumit Singh, has now crossed into six figures, bringing in more than $108,000 from over 2,800 individual donations.
Jenny’s friend Penny Minincleri launched the fundraiser back in May, shortly after Jenny publicly shared that doctors had diagnosed her with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as ALS. The campaign exists to help cover her growing medical expenses, which are substantial. According to the fundraiser’s own description, Jenny’s medication alone could exceed $200,000 for a single year.
That figure puts the $108,000 raised into real perspective. It’s a genuinely meaningful amount, and it still covers roughly half of one year’s medication costs.

The Diagnosis Carried Extra Weight For Jenny
Jenny learned she had ALS in December 2025 after experiencing symptoms including difficulty swallowing and changes in her speech. She has shared that the diagnosis frightened her for a reason most patients don’t face: her father also died from ALS.
Receiving that news having already watched a parent go through the disease means Jenny understood exactly what lay ahead from the very first day. That context makes everything happening now harder to sit with.
Her Condition Has Worsened
In a recent Instagram video, Sumit gave fans a difficult update on how far the disease has progressed.
“Unfortunately, the ALS is progressing and now it’s starting showing more in her talking, like, it’s hard for her to talk now,” Sumit said. “Earlier, she was doing good.”
Jenny confirmed it herself in the same video, telling him simply, “I can’t talk.”
Sumit added that Jenny’s mobility has also declined. She now has more trouble walking and keeping her balance.
The Visa Standing In The Way
The couple wants to bring Jenny back to the U.S. for more medical care. Jenny says hospitals in India don’t have enough experience treating ALS.
“Our plan was to get the visa, and I’ll travel with Jenny and go to America and start the treatment,” Sumit explained. “I always keep my hopes high, and I feel that America might have something better for Jenny and she can get at least a better support system.”
That plan remains stuck. Sumit’s visa application has not been approved, and Jenny’s doctors have advised she shouldn’t make the long journey alone. He described the stakes bluntly. “If I don’t get the visa, it means that we will be apart forever. This is a reason Jenny doesn’t want to go to America without me.”
Jenny has said the same from her side, calling India “my home” and refusing to leave without her husband. Sumit also expressed frustration at not knowing what more the embassy could possibly need. “If our relationship and medical plans are not enough for the embassy in order for me to get a visa, I don’t know whatever situation or condition I will ever be approved.”
