Alison Victoria isn’t here for the critics, especially when it comes to her latest Sin City Rehab project. In the latest episode of The Pap Smear Podcast, the HGTV star defended her kitchen renovation. She called out a contractor for telling her clients it looked terrible.
“I don’t think [the kitchen] turned out like s**t at the end,” Alison said with a smirk. “But you guys let me know what you think of the design… because Jeremy, Deborah, and the kids were blown away.”
Fans couldn’t agree more. “You always do an amazing job,” one follower wrote. “What you did is expose a bad contractor and people are grateful for that.” Another chimed in, “The pantry was one of the best ever. Wow.”
‘It’s as Real as It Gets’
Alison also addressed a fan question about how much of Sin City Rehab is “real” versus “edited.” Her answer? Straight-up honesty.
“This is as close to a docu-series as you could possibly get,” she said. “This is following real life. What happens when we have microphones on and the cameras are rolling — it’s all being filmed, and that’s what this is.”
Her honesty resonated with fans. They’ve seen her struggle with unreliable contractors and growing pressure each season. “Alison always does a beautiful job despite the setbacks she faces in damn near every episode,” one supporter commented.
