Bear Brown Breaks Silence on Raiven Split and Reveals Why Their Marriage Really Ended

Bear Brown is finally telling his side of the story.

The Alaskan Bush People star talked about his breakup with Raiven Brown. This comes eight months after they announced their split. And according to Bear, there is no scandal, no betrayal, and no bitterness.

Just reality.

Bear Says the Split Was Mutual and About the Kids

Bear shared a long Instagram video on Sunday, January 4. They said the decision to separate came after realizing they no longer worked as a couple.

“Raiven’s and my separation was mutual,” Bear said. “When two people don’t get along as a couple and there are kids involved, it’s best to go their separate ways.”

He stressed that their children remain the top priority.

“We both want what’s best for the kids. That’s our main focus. We’re actually friends and we’re coparenting really well.”

Bear revealed that he even spent Christmas morning at Raiven’s house so he could watch their kids open presents.

“We just didn’t get along properly as a couple,” he added. “We make really good friends, and that’s what matters.”

Raiven Has Moved On and Bear Supports It

After the split, Raiven went public with his girlfriend, Kaitlyn Webb. He announced their relationship in November 2025.

Bear made it clear there is no tension.

“They make each other happy, and that’s what’s important,” he said.

He also shut down speculation about Raiven’s sexuality being the cause of the breakup.

“That had nothing to do with our separation whatsoever,” Bear stated. “People need to be true to themselves.”

He even praised Kaitlyn directly.

“She’s super nice. Really nice.”

Bear Eyes a Fresh Start in Alaska

While co-parenting in Florida, Bear is already planning his next chapter.

The reality star revealed he is looking to buy land in Alaska, a place he still calls home. He shared that he found a property on Prince of Wales Island priced at $49,000 and hopes to put down a payment soon.

Bear said the property is connected by road, which matters for his kids’ safety.

Fans had mixed reactions. Some celebrated the fresh start. Others questioned how he plans to afford it.

Bear stayed focused.

His kids come first. Again.

Why This Split Feels Different

There is no mudslinging here. No cryptic captions. No public feuds.

Just two people choosing peace over pressure.

For longtime Alaskan Bush People viewers, it is a quieter ending than expected. But maybe that is the point.
