Brittany Snow Reveals Wild Secrets Behind The Hunting Wives

Brittany Snow and Drew Barrymore had a lively chat. It was full of laughter, surprises, and some deep moments. From Pitch Perfect to her new Hulu series, The Hunting Wives, the actress dazzles fans with her charm. A surprise message from co-star Malin Åkerman almost brought Drew to tears.

“We Don’t Really Sing Live Either, So You’re In”

The interview started on a playful note as Drew confessed her love for Pitch Perfect. “I love Pitch Perfect so much. I mean, there’s three movies. Do you think there’ll ever be a fourth?” she asked eagerly.

Brittany smiled. “Maybe if you want to come on and be a part of it, then,” she teased.

“I can’t sing,” Drew laughed.

“Is that a problem?” Brittany shot back, grinning. “We don’t really sing live either, so it’s okay. It’s recorded, you can dance around.”

Fans flooded the comments with heart emojis and laughter. One viewer wrote, “Drew would be perfect on the show!!!😍”

“The Hunting Wives… What in the Hell?”

When the conversation turned to Brittany’s latest project, Drew couldn’t contain herself. “The Hunting Wives. What in the hell?” she exclaimed.

“I know,” Brittany laughed. “It’s a lot. I love that you’re into it.”

Drew gushed, “I’ve watched the whole season. The way you guys created this show and how you played it was so tonally Pitch Perfect, pun intended.”

But things got even better when Brittany revealed she had a surprise. “Well, she has a little video for you,” Brittany teased.

“No, no, no,” Drew gasped.

Then a pre-recorded message from The Hunting Wives co-star Malin Åkerman appeared. “Drew, I love you so much, girl,” Malin said from her bathroom in Vegas. “You’d be a great hunting wife. Come visit, I’ll even let you touch my wig!”

Drew was visibly emotional. “Oh my God. That means so much. All my hairs are standing up.”

Brittany Reacts to Her SNL Moment

The interview then turned to Saturday Night Live’s parody of The Hunting Wives.

“Did you see the SNL skit? Brilliant,” Drew said.

“Brilliant,” Brittany agreed. “It’s such a pinch-me moment. I never thought I’d make it as a skit on SNL. It’s so surreal.”

Drew added, “If SNL is lovingly parodying you, you’re doing something right.”

“It’s the highest compliment,” Brittany said with a smile. “It really is.”

From True Crime to True Justice

Drew later praised Brittany’s strong performance in Murdoch: Death in the Family. She plays journalist Mandy Matney, the real reporter who uncovered corruption in South Carolina.

“You’re literally exposing what we now know as the takedown,” Drew said. “You’re this voice of reason fighting for truth and justice.”

Brittany nodded. “It’s been such a privilege to play her. I love that she’s holding up a mirror to a corrupt system, and that it’s a woman doing it her way.”

Drew, ever the passionate host, added, “I love that it’s local journalism too. That’s what breaks these stories.”

“The Beast in Me” and What’s Next

Before wrapping up, Drew brought up Brittany’s next projecti the upcoming Netflix thriller The Beast in Me with Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys.

“It’s prestige television,” Brittany said proudly. “Everyone is at the top of their game. It’s a character story, and Matthew Rhys is the coolest, most gregarious man. I love his wife, too. she’s the best.”

Drew finished the segment beaming, “Brittany, I love you. We’ll be right back.”
