Erika Jayne’s $25M Fraud Trial Delayed One Final Time as She Reveals Secret Abuse Ordeal

Erika Jayne’s legal nightmare is far from over.

Almost five years after being sued for misusing settlement money intended for victims of her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been given what insiders call her final trial date.

And this time, there are no more delays.

RHOBH: Final Continuance Granted

Attorney Ronald Richards said Erika got one final delay in the $25 million fraud case linked to the Girardi Keese bankruptcy.

“Erika Girardi is desperately trying to hold off the trial,” he wrote. He confirmed the trustee agreed to move the trial to April 14, 2026, but made it clear this is the final extension.

Court documents show the jury trial is now set for May 19, 2026.

The filing states plainly: “No further continuances will be requested.”

That means the clock is officially ticking.

Erika’s legal team, led by attorney Evan Borges, signed off on the updated schedule. The trustee is still trying to recover funds that were reportedly sent to Erika’s company. These funds came from settlement accounts meant for Girardi’s clients.

Erika has repeatedly denied knowing anything about the alleged misconduct at Girardi Keese. No settlement is reached, so creditors might oppose any last-minute deal.

This is no longer a waiting game. It is a countdown.

RHOBH: What Erika Is Accused Of

The trustee in Tom Girardi’s bankruptcy says Erika’s company got millions that should have gone to victims.

Those funds are at the heart of the lawsuit.

Erika insists she had no knowledge of any wrongdoing. She has maintained that she trusted her husband and did not manage the firm’s finances.

Still, the case remains active. And now it heads toward trial.

A Personal Bombshell on RHOBH

Erika stirred things up again on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her legal drama just got more intense.

During a recent episode, she revealed she was in an abusive relationship “not too long ago.”

“Not with any of my husbands,” she clarified.

She admitted the situation escalated over time.

“It happened more than once,” she said. “And then, like, the third time, I was just like, ‘This is not for me.’”

Erika felt shame when she had to call 911. It was especially hard since her son is a police officer.

“You have no idea how shameful it is to be the mother of a police officer and have to pick up the phone and call 911,” she said.

She added that she ended the relationship and moved on.

“It stopped at the right time. That’s far and away gone.”

RHOBH: Two Storms at Once

Erika now faces two very different battles.

One is personal.

One is financial.

Both are unfolding in public.

Her trial date is locked. Creditors are watching. And any potential settlement could face pushback in bankruptcy court.

At the same time, she is opening up about trauma she says no one knew about.

The timing is striking.

As the courtroom looms closer, Erika’s life remains under a microscope.

And by May 2026, she will finally have to face a jury.
