Heather Rae El Moussa just revealed a secret about her husband Tarek El Moussa that fans didn’t expect. Speaking to Us Weekly, the Selling Sunset alum said Tarek was once approached to join Dancing with the Stars.
“Tarek was back in the day,” she said, laughing. “The man can dance a little, but I don’t think he thinks he can.”
Heather added she’d love to compete on the show herself. “I would totally be open to it,” she smiled. “It’d be fun to do Dancing with the Stars together in competition. May the best couple win.”
Unplanned Selling Sunset return
Heather also confirmed she’ll appear on the new season of Selling Sunset, but it wasn’t planned.
“It was random,” she explained. “It was during the fires, and I went to my storage unit to donate baby stuff. Jason Oppenheim said, ‘We’re filming, come by.’ I had no makeup on, just my comfy clothes, but I went anyway. It felt natural.”
Her cameo ended up being a spontaneous surprise. “It wasn’t planned at all,” she said. “I was literally at a stoplight deciding if I should go.”
Would she ever return full-time?
When asked if she’d rejoin Selling Sunset for good, Heather didn’t rule it out. “Never say never,” she teased.
She admitted she misses parts of her old life. “I miss the girly times, the dinners, walking those beautiful properties. I’m still in real estate, but it’s just different.”
And what does Tarek think? “He’d be happy,” Heather said. “But he’d probably ask if I really want all that drama back. We’re pretty drama-free now.”
Heather keeps it real about motherhood and TV life
Heather confessed she hasn’t been keeping up with Selling Sunset. “I stopped watching for a while,” she said. “Not because I didn’t want to, but because I ran out of time. At night, I’m watching Paw Patrol instead of Netflix.”
She added she’s currently watching Love Island, but “a really old season.”
