In a new clip from Help! I Wrecked My House. The HGTV star finally takes on her daughter’s bedroom makeover. It’s been seven months of waiting. Instead of leading the project, Jasmine gives the creative reins to her small “client.””
“You’re not my only client, but you might be my hardest one”
“Hazel’s room has never been worked on, and I want to do it fast,” Jasmine says in the video. She sits next to her daughter, who is ready with color swatches and ideas.
When the HGTV host suggests turning the bunk bed into a fort, Hazel immediately approves. “Yeah,” she says with full designer authority.
The moment that stole fans’ hearts, though, came when Hazel rejected several of her mom’s paint options. “No, no, that one’s just plain white,” she said seriously, before choosing a bold tone that Jasmine called “a little too dark.”
Hazel, unfazed, held her ground. “This one looks pinkish,” she said. “This one. This one and this one I’m gonna do.”
Jasmine could only laugh, replying, “It’s gonna be so good.”
Fans are obsessed with Hazel’s confidence
Viewers quickly flooded HGTV’s Instagram with love for the confident little designer.
“Aww, she is so sweet, and showing creativity already!” one fan gushed. Another wrote, “Going to be so good! But I did really like the first color she picked.”
Others praised the heartwarming mother-daughter dynamic, with one comment reading, “Love your family! Can’t wait to see Hazel’s room. Your biggest Utah fan here!”
