Reality star Kyle Richards faced backlash for a sponsored post about L’Oréal Paris Excellence. She claimed she dyes her hair at home every 10 days.
“So I have to color my hair all the time because my hair grows really fast,” Kyle explained in her video. “I didn’t have time to go to the salon, so I’m coloring my hair with L’Oréal Excellence. I’ve been doing this for years.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star showed her followers how she touches up her look. She likes to mix the color in a bowl for better control.
She added, “I’ve tried many at-home dyes over the years and haven’t found anything better than L’Oréal Paris Excellence. It completely covers my grays, and I’m obsessed with how soft and silky my hair feels after.”
By the end of the video, Kyle smiled proudly into the camera, showing off her glossy brunette hair. “It’s so easy, and I love this color,” she said. “Now I’m ready to go!”

But fans weren’t convinced that the Bravo star, who’s worth millions, is really mixing up box dye in her bathroom.
One fan commented, “Nope, I don’t believe you color your own hair.” Another added bluntly, “You’re wealthy. You’re not using a drugstore dye.”
Others accused Kyle of being disingenuous for the sake of an ad deal. “I love you, Kyle, but firstly, I didn’t see any grays, and secondly, someone of your financial wealth does not use at-home color!” one critic wrote.
Another echoed the skepticism: “Yeah, I don’t trust her. I don’t see any grays. She’s getting paid.”
Still, some viewers jumped to her defense, with one fan commenting, “That’s great! I do this too!”
