Kylie Jenner is marking ten years of Kylie Cosmetics. She’s reflecting on her best fashion moments. Fans love how calm, confident, and self-assured she has become.
“This is actually the only dress of mine that I don’t own,” Kylie revealed at the start of Vogue’s “Life in Looks” video. “So if anyone out there has my dress, call me. It’s priceless to me.”
Kylie looked back at her fashion history. She started with her Season 1 premiere look from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Laughing, she said, “Wow. Kendall’s feet look huge here. I love my little henna tattoo. I was nine years old, my mom probably picked this outfit for me.”
She then shared a sweet memory from her first-ever runway show for Avril Lavigne’s clothing line. “I wasn’t nervous at all. I was so confident. I loved my pink tips. That probably started my love for colored hair.”
“This Feels Very King Kylie to Me”
As she looked back on her co-hosting outfit for the Much Music Awards, Kylie couldn’t help but laugh. “I love that I had black toes and baby blue nails. Probably something I wouldn’t do today,” she said. “But this feels very King Kylie to me.”
She added that she’s been unlocking her own archives lately. “I found all my old phones and turned them on. I found never-before-seen King Kylie photos that I’m going to be dropping very soon.”
Her 21st Birthday, and Kim Kardashian’s Jealous Moment
One of the most talked-about moments came when Kylie discussed her 21st birthday look, styled by Chris Appleton. “It’s one of the first few times Chris did my hair,” she said. “And Kim was not happy about that. I’m gonna air her out!” she joked.
“This was a really fun night. I think it was soon after I had Stormi. It was the first night I felt like myself again.”
She smiled as she recalled that her favorite part wasn’t even the party. “All my sisters came to dinner before the party. Everyone wore pink. It was such good energy.”
The Met Gala, Couture Dreams, and Her “Priceless” Dress
Kylie said her Met Gala 2019 Versace gown is still one of her top three looks ever. “I loved the theme. I tried it on and just knew it was going to be a moment for me,” she said.
Her lion’s head Schiaparelli gown, which sparked global conversation, was another favorite. “I’m a Leo, so Daniel [Roseberry] wanted me to wear the lion dress. It was definitely a huge risk, but I think it’s fab.”
Kylie also opened up about her custom John Galliano look, her Loewe show outfit, and the iconic “Margiela mermaid” look. “All of my looks are very intentional. Everything has to be a vision,” she explained. “We spend hours glamming and fitting. I’m really crazy about it all being cohesive.”
She wrapped the video about her growth. It focused on her journey in fashion and her self-awareness. “I definitely felt the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my life,” she said about one of her Paris looks. “I’ve grown a lot, and I’m still having fun with it.”
Fans Praise Kylie’s Confidence and Growth
Fans filled the comments with praise, saying this is the “most grounded” version of Kylie yet.
“This new Kylie carries herself so gracefully,” one fan wrote. “You can tell she’s found confidence and peace within herself.”
Another added, “I love that she says ‘we’ she always credits her team. She’s humble. Love King Kylie.”
And of course, there were romantic shoutouts, too. “I think Kylie is such a sweetheart. I’m rooting for her and Timothée for the long term,” one fan commented.
