Jill Zarin’s reality TV comeback just imploded. Now Reza Farahan is adding fuel to the fire.
The Shahs of Sunset alum says Jill once boasted about helping to sink Real Housewives of New York: Legacy. She’s reeling after being fired from a new RHONY spinoff. Insiders say she is “a total mess” and taking “no accountability.”
The timing could not be worse.
RHONY: “Legacy Fell Apart Because Of Me”
Reza did not hold back during an interview on Page Six Radio.
He remembered standing in a doorway with Jill while filming Prime Video’s The Goat. That’s when she supposedly dropped a bomb.
“‘You know that Legacy fell apart because of me,’” Reza claimed she told him.
According to Reza, Jill said she demanded the same salary as Luann de Lesseps.
“‘I wanted the same amount they were paying Luann. And they told me that I didn’t deserve it because Luann had been on this whole time, and I wasn’t. And I demanded the money.’”
Reza said Jill was not regretful. She was proud.
“She was proud that the show had fallen apart because she put her foot down.”
This admission changes everything we thought about why RHONY: Legacy didn’t happen.
RHONY: “Bravo Warned Me About Her”
Reza also revisited past drama between them.
He said that during Shahs of Sunset’s peak, Jill publicly criticized him.
“She came out against me and was like saying, ‘Bravo’s gone to the gutter. He’s at a gay bar sniffing armpits.’”
Later, he found himself at a dinner party with her. Jill allegedly wrote him an apology card and brought cookies.
Reza decided to give her another chance.
“I was like, you know what, let me give this lady another chance.”
That goodwill did not last.
After filming The Goat together, Reza said he realized something had shifted.
“I thought she was my friend while we were there… and I realized, not only is she working against me, but she’s in everyone’s ear about me.”
He added that people at Bravo had warned him.
“Everyone warned me about her. And I was like, okay, they were all right.”
That is not exactly a glowing character reference.

RHONY: Jill Fired After Super Bowl Backlash
This comes just days after Jill lost a new RHONY spinoff gig.
She posted a video criticizing Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show. Many viewers called the comments offensive. The backlash exploded online.
E! then confirmed she was out of The Golden Life, a new Real Housewives of New York spinoff.
According to insiders who spoke to Radar Online, Jill is not handling it well.
“She’s angry she got fired,” a source claimed. “She doesn’t understand how she could get fired.”
An insider said she shows “no remorse.” They added that she is “blaming the response to her comments instead of reflecting and taking accountability.”
The source added, “She’s not looking within and realizing she did something wrong.”
