Rylee Arnold opened up about her elimination from Dancing With the Stars. She shared an emotional “get ready with me” video after leaving the competition with her partner, Scott Hoying.
“Scott and I got eliminated on last night’s episode,” Rylee said, visibly heartbroken. “Honestly, this morning I have a heavy heart for sure.”
The 18-year-old pro dancer called the end of their journey “sad” but filled with gratitude. “I’m so grateful that I made a best friend out of Scott,” she said. “To experience the season with him and see him improve every single week, I was proud of what we created.”
“He Practiced for Hours at Home”
Rylee praised Scott’s dedication throughout the season. “His work ethic is insane,” she shared. “He would finish our four-hour rehearsals and then go home and practice for hours.”
Fans were deeply moved by that revelation. One commenter wrote that they “cried hearing he practiced at home.” Another said it was “heartbreaking” but also showed “how much he cared.”

Rylee said her bond with Scott was instant. “Right off the bat, Scott and I became instant besties,” she said. “I felt so comfortable and safe with him.”
She called Scott “one of the most kind and genuine people” she’s ever met. “He always lights up a room,” she added. “I’m so sad that I’m not gonna see him this week at rehearsals, but I know I’ve got a friend for life.”
The duo made it to week six, and Rylee said she’s “so proud of the dances we created each and every week.” She described their time together as “iconic and fun” and said the memories will last forever.
