Sister Wives fans can stop guessing.
Despite weeks of cryptic social media posts, Janelle Brown is not done yet.
Mykelti Brown, her daughter, confirmed that Season 21 is on the way. Janelle has filmed for it too.
“There will be guaranteed one more season for sure,” Mykelti said.
“But Janelle will be part of the new season coming out.”
That shuts down the exit rumors. For now.
Sister Wives: Why Fans Thought Janelle Was Leaving
Janelle fueled speculation herself.
In December, she shared heartfelt posts about “leaving the show.” She talked about rebuilding her identity after the cameras stopped rolling.
“Leaving the show… leaving a marriage… starting over,” she wrote.
“It takes time.”
Fans assumed that meant she was walking away for good.
Mykelti says that is not exactly true.
Sister Wives: Filming Has Changed Big Time
According to Mykelti, Season 21 looks very different behind the scenes.
For years, the adults followed a strict filming schedule. Two weeks on. Two weeks off.
Not anymore.
“The filming has been very, very miniscule,” Mykelti revealed.
“It’s sporadic. It’s been less.”
That shift may explain why Janelle feels checked out some days and all in on others.
Sister Wives: Janelle Is Torn About Staying
Mykelti did not sugarcoat it.
She said her mom goes back and forth constantly.
“Some days she’s like, ‘Yes, let’s do five more seasons,’” Mykelti explained.
“And sometimes she’s like, ‘I’m done. I just want to focus on my grandbabies.’”
Janelle also wants to focus on Taeda Farms and her new life in North Carolina.
But there is one major factor keeping her on camera.
Money.
“Sister Wives is her primary income source,” Mykelti confirmed.
Sister Wives: Spin Off Rumors Get Shut Down
Fans have begged TLC for a Janelle and Christine Brown spin off.
Mykelti says do not hold your breath.
“I don’t think any of the spin offs will actually happen,” she said.
Why? Because the core of Sister Wives was always polygamy. And that story is basically over.
Most of the kids also want nothing to do with filming.
“They don’t want to film. They’re done,” Mykelti said.

Sister Wives: “The Show Is Fizzling”
Mykelti echoed what many fans already feel.
“I think the show is fizzling,” she admitted.
“Because it’s not Sister Wives anymore.”
They are all ex wives now.
Season 20 relied heavily on Coyote Pass drama and Kody’s sudden apology tour.
And that apology tour? Mykelti has thoughts.

Sister Wives: Kody’s Apology Tour Is Only Half True
Kody Brown has claimed he is repairing relationships with all of his kids.
Mykelti says that is not the full picture.
“He is actively working on some relationships,” she said.
“He is not actively working on all relationships.”
Some of her siblings have blocked him completely.
Several have told him, point blank, never to contact them again.
Mykelti said Kody puts all his kids together in public. It’s easier than facing the truth.
“He’s not trying as hard as he could,” she admitted.
“There’s room for improvement.”

Sister Wives: The Only Way Mykelti Would Film With Kody Again
Tony Padron joked that the show could last longer if Kody did a full apology tour.
Mykelti did not joke back.
“I would let him film with us if he wanted to do an apology tour,” she said.
That might be the most honest moment yet.
