Kailyn Lowry is a mom of seven and a full-time content creator. Still, she finds time to read books, and fans are really impressed. In a new TikTok, the Teen Mom 2 alum shared her September reading wrap-up. She joked it “wasn’t super productive,” but she still finished four books.
“It’s October 3rd and I’m finally getting around to my September reading wrap up,” Kailyn said at the start of her video. “I went to visit my dad in Texas, so I only got through four books.”
That might not sound like much, until you realize how detailed she gets about every single one.
From Creepy Cookbooks to Cry-Inducing Thrillers
Kailyn started with The Dead Husband’s Cookbook. She described it as “different than any other thriller book I’ve ever read.” Giving it a solid five stars, she added, “It’s more creepy than anything… read this during spooky season.”
Her next read, Once There Were Wolves by Charlotte McConaghy, earned another glowing review. “I need to immediately get a wolf tattoo,” Kail gushed. “I’m obsessed with this. You either vibe with Charlotte McConaghy or you don’t. And so far both books I’ve read have been five stars.”
Audiobooks, Tears, and a Podcast Twist
Lowry also revealed that she’s been getting into audiobooks, and one stood out. “I read King of Ashes… I listened to a lot of this on audio. It was a full production, every character, every emotion. I loved it,” she said, adding that it connects to Razorblade Tears by S.A. Cosby, one of her earlier five-star reads.
She finished the list with “Tell Me What You Did” by Carter Wilson. Its “podcast element” caught her attention right away. “It was over 400 pages, but it will keep you on your toes,” she said. “I rated it four stars, and Carter Wilson is actually coming on a book club live with us to discuss it.”
