Armando Rubio is stuck in Mexico, unable to see his hospitalized daughter. Still, he speaks out about her situation. In an Instagram video, the 90 Day Fiancé star shared an update about his husband, Kenny Niedermeier. Kenny has been at 13-year-old Hannah’s side in the Phoenix ICU.
“I spoke to Kenny, and he said the MRI gave no answers,” Armando said. “The next step, I think they said they were gonna do an angioplasty, to see if they can get answers through there. Most likely they will, they think, but that means they have to put her out.”
The Procedure That Brought Him To Tears
Armando could not get through the explanation without breaking down. The plan is to access Hannah’s brain through her neck. She will be put under for an unknown time.
“They have to put her out, and I guess they go through her neck, and that could be, she could be under that for one day, hours, and in hopes of getting answers to see what the problem is,” he said. “It’s definitely scary hearing the neck part. I miss my baby girl. I don’t want to lose her.”
A father describes a procedure on his daughter, but he’s not in the room. He shares this from another country, as he’s legally unable to be there. That detail is what makes this update so hard to read.
Why Armando Still Isn’t There
Armando used the same video to update fans on his own situation. He had traveled to the border hoping a humanitarian visa might get him across, and the answer was final.
“I did go to the border to see about the humanitarian visa, and unfortunately they told me that as of two years ago that they took them out, like they don’t longer exist,” he said. “So, you can’t get any of that type of visa at the ports of entry, so that plan failed.”
He also gave fans the fuller picture of how Hannah’s symptoms began. “I was at my shop and Hannah called me next door, and she said she wasn’t feeling good and she was crying. I noticed like her face was droopy, half of her face and her lips and stuff, and half of her body had no strength, so we immediately took her to the doctor.”
One detail struck the doctors as unusual. “They did tell us her levels were normal in the sense of no high blood pressure, which was strange to the doctor because she said usually with stuff like this, that it was something with the brain. It was strange given her age, and also the fact that she would have high blood pressure, which would be a huge symptom.”
Kenny’s Update From Her Bedside
Armando has had to pass on information secondhand. In contrast, Kenny has been with Hannah the whole time. He posted a photo from her bedside on Instagram. It shows how she’s handling all the support.
“Hannah told me to tell you all, thank you for all the love she is receiving from all of you, she is truly touched and shocked by it all,” Kenny wrote. “It means the world to all of us!”
The Good News Fans Were Hoping For
Days later, Kenny delivered the update everyone had been waiting for. He shared a new photo of Hannah on his Instagram Stories. This came after her latest procedure, and it shows that everything went well.
“She came out of the latest procedure very well,” he wrote. “More updates soon. Thank you all again for all the care and kindness. We are grateful.”
Armando reshared the post from Mexico. He couldn’t be there in person, but he celebrated the news with everyone following the story.
Fans Keep Showing Up
Armando has often thanked the 90 Day Fiancé community for their emotional and financial support. The GoFundMe set up by a family friend has now raised over $146,000 for Hannah’s medical bills.
“I can’t thank any of you enough,” Armando said. “You guys all have been angels through this and made it a little easier, even though I can’t be with her.”
Kenny is a father of four. He has a son named Bricen and triplet daughters: Madison, Cassidy, and Taylor. Right now, his focus is entirely on Hannah’s recovery and getting Armando back into the country to see her. The procedure went well, which is a relief. However, doctors still lack a complete diagnosis. This family’s next update is just as important as the last one.

I don’t understand how our country is not helping to get Armando to be with his daughter, I am thankful that Kenny is there with her.I am wondering if 90 day can help reach out to our president for help. Sending prayers to all.
