Tyray Mollett has revealed a massive transformation that few saw coming. The TLC star revealed he lost 147 pounds. He credits gastric sleeve surgery and a total lifestyle change.
The update came via Instagram on Monday, December 15. The post included hospital photos and candid moments from his recovery.
“Earlier this year, I made a tough decision to undergo gastric sleeve surgery,” Tyray shared. “I was terrified, but I knew I needed to make some changes.”

The Surgery That Changed Everything
Tyray admitted the road was not easy.
In fact, he revealed he gained 10 pounds before surgery. That setback pushed him to act fast.
“So, I started my pre-op diet early,” he explained. “As of today, I’m down 147 pounds!”
The reality star thanked Central California Surgery for their care and support. He called the experience life-changing for him and his family.
This was not just cosmetic. This was survival.

Just days earlier, on December 10, Tyray shared a powerful before-and-after video.

Back in February 2024, he admitted on The Sarah Fraser Show that surgery was on the table. By April, cameras followed him on 90 Day Diaries as he confronted the reality of his health.
“My life depends on it,” he said at the time.
