Thais and Patrick’s therapy session took a hard left turn when Patrick’s brother John showed up uninvited, and he did not come empty-handed. In a sneak peek shared by Extra TV, John used the session to accuse Thais of lying about a liposuction procedure she got in Brazil, and he wasn’t shy about why he felt entitled to bring it up.
“Anytime I got to bring up anything important to Patrick that involves him and Thais, he’s like a little ostrich,” John said. “He just dips his head in the sand, you know.”
The Accusation
John’s claim went beyond simply catching Thais in a lie. He suggested the procedure itself had a motive Patrick wasn’t aware of.
“Let’s be honest, Thais is not the most honest person. She’s had surgery in Brazil. Lied about it,” John said in his confessional. “She’s obviously not getting the lipo for Pat. There was nothing going on. Maybe the lipo wasn’t for him. I’m not an algebra major, but I could put 1 plus 1 is two.”
That is a pointed insinuation dressed up as simple math, and it landed exactly as intended once the session started.
Thais Pushes Back
When Dr. Tyrone K. Grandison’s session turned to the surgery, Thais confirmed she’d had the procedure but said she and Patrick had already worked through it privately. Her issue wasn’t the fact coming out. It was John being the one to bring it up in the first place.
Patrick tried to shut the conversation down, telling John the matter was between him and Thais. John didn’t back off.
“Well, I’m here right now, right? And you know, we’re talking about stuff,” he said. “So if my brother talks to me about something, I’m allowed to talk about it back.”
The Fight Escalates
From there, the session turned into a direct confrontation between John and Thais. Thais maintained the topic was none of his business, telling him, “You’re just here accusing me, saying that I did this and this and that. Brazil that you know things.”
John kept circling back to the core accusation: that lying, regardless of the subject, was the real problem. “Was it just one time? How many times do you lie? Do you lie once? Do you lie twice? How many times?”
Thais, visibly frustrated by his tone, pushed back on being yelled at. Patrick jumped in on her side. “Yeah, dude, like you’re going nuts for no reason. Calm down. Why are you yelling?”

John did not let up, continuing to press the same point even as Thais tried to explain her side. Eventually she’d had enough.
“Let me talk!” she shouted, before walking out of the session entirely. John responded with a mocking goodbye on her way out.
Patrick turned his frustration on his brother once she left. “You have zero respect for her. You’re coming out of nowhere. You cannot talk to my wife like that.”
John was unmoved, calling Patrick a “knucklehead” and arguing that respect goes both ways.
What This Means Going Forward
A therapy session meant to help Thais and Patrick work through their own issues instead became a stage for a family member’s outside grievances, and it’s worth asking whether John’s intervention helped anyone in the room. Even if his underlying point, that honesty matters in a marriage, isn’t wrong on its face, ambushing Thais during a session designed for the couple isn’t the same thing as raising a fair concern.
Whether this blowup pushes Thais and Patrick further apart or gives them one more thing to work through together is still playing out this season.
