Jenelle Evans has shared some wild confessions over the years, but this one could be the most shocking. The Teen Mom alum revealed in a new TikTok that as a teenager, she pierced her lip herself with a dart.
“I really wanted this Monroe piercing, but my mom wouldn’t let me get it,” she said. “So I told my brother to come bring his dart to my bedroom… Put it through my lip. Did it hurt? Not really.”
Jenelle claimed she even sat at her computer while her mom walked in mid-experiment. “She’s like, ‘What are you doing?’ I was like, ‘Nothing, just on my computer.’ She never asked me to move my hand.”
The hole ended up too big, and the piercing constantly fell out. Worse – it damaged her teeth. “It rubbed my enamel off my tooth… that’s another reason why I had to take it out.” She closed the story with a warning: “Go get it professionally done, you guys. Wait till you’re of age.”

Teen Mom: Fans Can’t Believe It
The confessional had viewers in stitches – and some admitted they’d done the same. One fan laughed, “Not me thinking this whole time you were the only child 😭.” Another added, “I pierced my belly with a dart!! THE PAIN 😭😭😭.”
Others confessed their own scars: “I got mine professionally pierced and have the same scar… Regret it now.” Another shared, “Girl I pierced my belly button with a safety pin and ice. Then gauged it with a playboy belly ring. 😂😂.”
For some, the revelation was a shock in itself. “I always forget you have siblings!! They weren’t part of Teen Mom so interesting!!”
And plenty just cringed at the memory of their own botched Monroe piercings. “I hate my Monroe scar lol.”
