Sophia Watts is weeks away from having her second baby. She has her birth plan ready, along with a few honest thoughts.
In a new video, the influencer and mom-of-one shared behind-the-scenes moments. She talked openly about preparing for labor at 36 weeks pregnant.
“I’m planning to go into labor on my own. No plans for an induction,” she said, explaining that her first delivery at 37 weeks was medically induced due to health reasons. “I’m really excited to try and go natural this time.”
But Sophia quickly clarified what “natural” means for her. “When I say natural, I do not mean no epidural,” she laughed. “Your girl is still, still planning on getting the epidural.”
“I’m Not Trying to Have a Car Baby”
Sophia admitted one part of her plan makes her nervous, the long drive to the hospital.
“We’re a little over an hour away from the hospital,” she said. “So if I start contracting or feeling weird, we are getting in the car and going.”
Still, she’s hoping to avoid any false alarms. “Hopefully I don’t have a situation where I go and get sent home,” she joked. “But I’d rather be safe than sorry. I’m not trying to have a car baby!”
Keeping It Real About Birth Plans
Even with her careful planning, Sophia knows that birth can be unpredictable.
“You can’t get too set on any kind of plan because you never know what’s going to happen,” she said. “At the end of the day, main priority is healthy baby, healthy mom, healthy everything.”
Fans filled the comments with love, prayers, and their own birth stories. One mom wrote, “I labored all day shopping, got home, took a shower, went to the hospital, already at 8cm!” while another added, “I’m also 36 weeks and one hour away from my hospital. Praying for you and your baby girl!”
Several followers even began guessing the baby’s due date, with one predicting October 14 “because you found out you were pregnant on February 14.”
Ready for Baby Girl
For now, Sophia is taking it one day at a time, and keeping her followers updated.
“It could be tomorrow or it could really be in like a month,” she said. “We can’t wait to meet you, baby girl.”
