Chip & Joanna Gaines Take “Fixer Upper” to the Mountains

The stars of the Magnolia Network shared in a new video that their series, “Fixer Upper: Mountain House,” is coming soon. But the big question remains: where?

“We are so excited to announce our new series called ‘Fixer Upper: Mountain House,’” Chip said, grinning from ear to ear. “We are not in Waco anymore, are we?”

Joanna Gaines laughed before teasing viewers.

“Oh my goodness, we are finally taking Fixer Upper on the road.”

Chip wouldn’t let her reveal the mystery destination just yet.

“No. Could it be Colorado? Could it be Utah?”

“Could be California,” Joanna added, keeping fans guessing.

Fixer Upper: Fans Are Losing It Over the Mystery

The announcement sent Fixer Upper fans into full detective mode.

One follower commented, “I’m here for it! Got the popcorn popped… now I just need the show!” Another guessed, “Idaho?” Some focused on Joanna’s style. “Can’t wait for JoJo’s mountain fashion! That sweater and turquoise ring are everything!””

Others begged for international access. “We want to watch it in France!” one user wrote.

It’s clear the couple’s global fan base is ready to follow them anywhere, from the Texas plains to the mountaintops.

“Lots of Drama,” Chip Promises

In the clip, Chip teased what fans can expect from the new season.

Fixer Upper: “Lots of drama,” he said with a grin.

Joanna quickly cut in, joking,

“That’s not what it’s supposed to look like, this is a zero-bedroom house.”

Chip added with his signature charm,

“A side of Jo you may have never seen before.”

And for anyone wondering whether the move means a major shake-up in their renovation style, Joanna made it clear this one’s special.

“It’s very near and dear to our hearts. We can’t wait to share where we’re at.”

Fixer Upper: A Fresh Chapter for “Fixer Upper”

After years of transforming homes in Waco, Texas, the Gaines duo is ready to tackle something new. Fixer Upper: Mountain House promises to be their boldest project yet. It features mountains, bears, and what Chip calls “lots of drama.”

Fans can watch the premiere on December 9th at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Catch it on Magnolia Network and HGTV, or stream it that day on Max and Discovery+.
