Crystal Kung Minkoff is not holding back about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The former Housewife calls this season “boring.” She claims producers are pressuring the cast behind the scenes. She also finds newbie Amanda Frances “incredibly annoying.”” But she also believes the group has gone too far.
And she has thoughts about Kyle Richards too.

RHOBH: “She’s Annoying, But They’re Relentless”
On a recent podcast appearance, Crystal gave a blunt take on Amanda.
“She’s annoying. I don’t believe in her business,” Crystal said. “Honestly, I do think Amanda’s incredibly annoying.”
Still, Crystal believes the cast crossed the line.
She accused the women of being “relentless” and turning Amanda into an easy target. According to Crystal, constantly questioning Amanda’s money coaching business feels familiar.
“It’s a very gaslight-y thing to do,” she explained. “It’s kind of like how they questioned me about my feelings.”
Crystal pushed back on claims that Amanda’s business is a scam.
“It’s not a scam business. She’s very clear. ‘If you want me to tell you you can financially prosper, give me 100 bucks.’ Dude, I would take 100 bucks!”
Her bigger issue is repetition.
“It’s already been nine episodes. Enough already. You think she’s a scam artist. Say it and move on.”
Crystal says focusing on one cast member for too long hurts the show.
“If Amanda is the only thing you’re talking about, it’s a problem.”
RHOBH: Producers “Slam the Table”
Crystal also pulled back the curtain on production pressure.
She revealed that producers sometimes step in when they feel the season is dragging.
“We’ve all had talkings to,” she admitted. “Producers will come in, like, ‘This is not going well.’”
She described moments when producers address the entire cast in public settings.
“They’ll just come in and slam the table, like, ‘Are you putting on a show, guys?’”
That kind of pressure can shift the energy quickly. And Crystal suspects the recent spike in drama may not be accidental.
“It seems like everybody is now activated,” she said.
RHOBH: The Kyle Clap Back
Crystal also addressed her recent online jab at Kyle Richards.
Cynthia Bailey took the time out of her “Humble Brag” podcast with Crystal Kung-Minkoff to address comments made by longtime friend Jill Zarin. You can hear the disappointment in Cynthia’s voice as she condemned Jill’s words. #TheGoldenLife

After Kyle compared Amanda to Crystal, he mentioned Crystal’s past use of “violated.” Crystal then replied in the comments, saying, “College isn’t for everyone,” along with the hashtag “Reading is Hard.””
Now she says it was not that serious.
“I saw Kyle the week before. We’re good. I don’t really care. I don’t think it’s that deep on either side.”
Still, she defended herself.
“I have to clap back at people who were constantly litigating my words,” she said. “I just think it was a carrot of, like, this is a storyline. It’s just building a show.”
Looking back, Crystal admits she got pulled into the drama during her own seasons.
“You just learn on the job,” she said. “Sometimes it takes a little bit longer.”
RHOBH: “The Show Needs Younger Blood”
Crystal did not stop there.
She suggested RHOBH needs fresh energy.
“I think the show needs new blood and younger blood,” she said. “If she keeps trying to push out millennials, we’re not that young. I’m 43 years old.”
She called herself “emotionally intelligent” but accused Kyle of being “an emotional millennial.””
The comment raised eyebrows, especially given Crystal’s own rocky start on the show. But she seems more self-aware now, watching from the outside.
And her message is clear.
The problem is not just Amanda.
The problem is a cast stuck on one storyline, dragging it out episode after episode.
If Beverly Hills wants to stay sharp, Crystal believes it should move faster and bring in new ideas.
Because in her view, dragging one newbie for nine episodes is not drama. It is just boring.
