Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Thanks Pete for Helping Finish Her New Home

Janelle Brown’s living room finally has curtains. The Sister Wives star shared the update on Instagram on Thursday, October 15, and used the post to thank her boyfriend, Pete, for helping.

Sister Wives: Seven Months of Bare Windows

Janelle’s post shows the new curtains on both sides of her fireplace and across the windows that face her porch. She said the main living area went seven months without any. In her words, a lot else was going on. She then gave Pete the credit. “A big thanks to Pete, who willingly works through my honey-do list,” she wrote, as PEOPLE reported. She added that projects are more interesting with someone.

Sister Wives: Where the Home and the Relationship Stand

The house sits on 156 acres in North Carolina. Janelle bought the land with her daughter Madison Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush. She shared the purchase in December 2024 and said in March that she had moved in. Season 21 of Sister Wives, which premiered October 4, shows the moment she got the keys.

Pete lives in Las Vegas. Janelle said in late September that the two are working to change the long-distance setup. A shared house project is one more sign they are building something together.

Sister Wives: A Small Post With a Clear Message

Janelle spent about 30 years in a marriage where decisions were shared among a group. Now she picks the curtains, and a partner helps hang them. It is a very small detail, and it says more than a big announcement would.
