Sister Wives: David Woolley's Ultimatum to Christine

Christine Brown Woolley’s marriage is facing its first real public test. The new Sister Wives Season 21 trailer shows Christine and husband David Woolley sitting in a therapy session, where David draws a hard line about how much of her old life he is willing to share their marriage with.

David’s Ultimatum in Therapy

When the therapist asks what brought the couple in, David does not hold back. According to PEOPLE, David said, “When you’re with me, you’re Christine Woolley, but it’s that other side, she becomes Christine Brown. I’m coming to the point where it’s either me or them.” Christine does not react on camera, and the trailer does not show her response to the comment. In the trailer, the couple plays a compatibility game. Christine says she and David have known each other for less than four years.

Christine and David met through a matchmaker after she ended her 25-year spiritual marriage to Kody Brown in 2021. The two got engaged within months and married later that year, despite some reservations from her family at the time. David has become a regular on the show. Last season, he had a tense moment. He suggested Kody should apologize to his estranged children before giving Christine advice. Kody dismissed the suggestion. He said he wasn’t interested in David’s experience with his own kids.

Why This Ultimatum Is Landing Now

The timing here matters. This trailer comes with the news that Kody and his last wife, Robyn, won’t be in Season 21. That means Christine, Janelle, and Meri will lead the season without them. That change puts more screen time on each woman’s current life, including David. It seems producers are focusing on the tension between Christine’s new marriage and her old one. It’s hard to tell if David’s comment marks a real breaking point or if the editing just exaggerated it for the trailer.
