90 Day Fiancé: Shekinah Garner Says She Still Loves Sarper Guven Despite Divorce

90 Day Fiancé: Shekinah Garner Says She Still Loves Sarper Guven Despite Divorce

Shekinah Garner has filed for divorce, but she says her feelings did not leave with the paperwork. The 90 Day Fiancé star told The Sarah Fraser Show she is still in love with her estranged husband, Sarper Güven. When she was asked if she thinks he still loves her, she answered without a pause: “No, not at all.”

90 Day Fiancé: “It Doesn’t Just Go Away”

Love does not switch off on command, Shekinah said. “When you’re in love with somebody, it doesn’t just go away overnight,” she told host Sarah Fraser, as TV Shows Room reported. She is now in Miami with her daughter and working again. She says she wants to leave the limbo of the divorce process, heal, and move on.

90 Day Fiancé: Her Account of What Went Wrong

Shekinah says the trouble started after Sarper moved to the United States from Turkey. She says she paid the bills, drove him around, and handled most daily tasks. In her telling, he grew resentful and cold, and sometimes did not speak to her for weeks. She described the marriage as lonely.

She says the couple joined 90 Day: The Last Resort after private counseling failed. She wanted the show to save them. She claims Sarper joined to promote his comedy tour, and says she has texts that back that up. She also says he put comedy ahead of her. She says she used her Los Angeles connections to help launch his stand-up career. Later, she says, she sent him a cease-and-desist after hearing he shared private details of their marriage during a show in Canada.

90 Day Fiancé: What Sarper Has Said

Sarper has told a different story. In an Instagram post after the Tell-All, he denied choosing fame or money over her. He said they had been separated for months and that he considers himself single. He has not publicly answered her latest claims, and the court has not tested either account.

Shekinah also said she does not believe the theory that Sarper only wanted her as a path to America. She said he loved her at some point. She regrets bringing him over. She also said it was the only way to learn whether the marriage could work.

90 Day Fiancé: A Divorce With Two Broken Narratives

Both sides describe a real feeling that went wrong. Sarper says it ended quietly months ago. Shekinah says she is still stuck in it. Those are not stories that can both be true at once, and the divorce case may be where the gap closes. For now, the clearest thing in this interview is Shekinah saying she wants out of the limbo, not out of the feeling.
