90 Day Fiancé fans saw one of the season’s biggest moments. Jasmine Pineda went into labor at 1 a.m., causing panic for her and Matt Branis.
“It’s 1:00 a.m. I was obviously in bed, and I felt like my water has broken,” Jasmine said breathlessly. “I went to the bathroom, and I’m bleeding and I’m in pain. I’m having certain contractions.”
Matt immediately jumped into action. “What Matt is going to do right now is he’s going to call the midwife because I think the baby’s coming,” she continued, clearly nervous. “Forget about sleeping for the next few days!”

As they raced to the birth center, Jasmine’s contractions grew stronger. “Oh, this place is kind of far,” she said, groaning through the pain. “I feel like water leaking out of me. I have a diaper right now.”
Between contractions, she pleaded, “Just make sure that I don’t give birth in this car, please.”
Matt, visibly anxious, admitted his fears to the camera. “It’s happening. I hope we made the right choice to come to a birth center. I’m thinking maybe we should have gone to a hospital. If anything happens to her or the baby, what are we gonna do? My heart is racing.”
He confessed, “I feel like the walls are closing in, and I’m stressed to the max.”

Jasmine tried to stay calm despite the pain. “The contractions are coming every four to five minutes, and they are very, very intense,” she said. “I’ve been trying to hold it, but it’s so freaking painful.”
Still, she reminded herself why it mattered. “I feel like every contraction is bringing me closer to meet our angel, our baby. Today is her birthday, and I cannot wait to meet her.”
When they finally arrived, Jasmine said, “I’m in a lot of pain right now. Let’s pray that everything works out and that we can hold our baby pretty soon.”
Her midwife’s calm voice guided her through the delivery: “Every contraction, that’s your baby coming down.” Jasmine could only gasp, “Yeah, I can feel it!”

Matt, overwhelmed by the situation, held Jasmine’s hand. “Please, God, please don’t let there be any issue,” he whispered. “Please let the baby come out fine. Please let the baby be healthy.”
When Jasmine shouted, “She’s coming, she’s coming,” Matt’s face showed pure fear and awe. “It’s just straight anxiety,” he said. “I’m worried to death that something might happen.”
Moments later, the baby arrived, safe and healthy. Jasmine could only whisper her newborn’s name: “Sam.”
