Sister Wives is heading straight for its most uncomfortable showdown yet.
Meri Brown finally sits down with ex-husband Kody Brown for the final stop of his apology tour.
And she is not playing along.
In a preview of next week’s episode, Kody insists he is “just here to apologize.”
Meri cuts him off immediately.
“No, I’m going to tell you this, Kody,” she snaps.
“You’re not going to shut me down anymore.”
The tone is set.
This conversation is not going the way Kody planned.
Meri Draws a Line and Makes It Clear
In her confessional, Meri does not soften her stance.
“If it gets any more than this, I’m out!” she says.
She later admits she is walking into the meeting guarded and wary.
And she has good reason.
Meri reveals that during their last encounter at Coyote Pass, Kody did not even acknowledge her presence.
“The last time I saw Kody, we didn’t even look at each other,” she explains.
“So I’m going into this conversation very guarded.”
That silence said more than words.
Friends Warn Meri to Be Careful
Ahead of the sit-down, Meri opens up to her friends Jenn and Amber.
Both immediately raise red flags.
They question Kody’s motives.
They question his sincerity.
Meri admits she is curious about what Kody wants.
But she does not trust the timing.
She recalls texting Kody after their separation, asking if they could “move forward in kindness.”
His response shocked her.
Instead of agreeing, he called her immediately and got defensive.

“There have been times when I’ve had conversations with Kody and I definitely see the sincerity,” she says.
“And then there’s times when I’m like, is this lip service?”

“I don’t know what Kody I’m going to get,” Meri admits.
“Because I don’t know Kody anymore.”

In his own confessional, he admits the apology could “go bad very quickly.”
His plan is simple.
Do not escalate.
“I will persevere until I can reach her, until she hears me,” he says.
But Meri has her own strategy.
Meri Sets Strong Boundaries
Meri says she has lost trust after trying repeatedly to stay civil.
Instead, she felt attacked.
Not just personally, but through her friends.
“If you go on the attack on me or my best friend, then I will go on the attack back,” she says.
She makes one thing clear.
“I’m going to go into this conversation with very strong boundaries,” Meri explains.
“His energy messes with my energy. It just does.”
At this point, she expects nothing.
