Amanda Frances is not sure whether she wants to return to RHOBH for another season. But she is still talking about one of the show’s biggest off-screen storylines.
On The Viall Files, Amanda shared that she thought about buying Dorit Kemsley’s home in Encino. This house is now connected to foreclosure reports.
“Sometimes I consider buying it,” Amanda said.
The idea did not last long. Amanda explained that the house’s design would make it difficult to renovate.
“If it wasn’t so modern, if it wasn’t so pigeonholed in this one specific style, and I thought we’d have an easier time renovating it into something that would make us money, I think I would absolutely consider buying it.”
She also admitted she liked the potential headline.
“I like the headline, ‘Money Queen Buys House.'”
Still, she ultimately decided the project would not be worth the effort.
“I don’t think it’d be a fun renovation for us.”
RHOBH: Amanda Questions Dorit’s Financial Awareness
The conversation quickly shifted to Dorit’s financial situation. Amanda said she found it hard to see how much Dorit was involved in managing the household money.
“I was trying to understand how much understanding she had of her finances … and she didn’t know.”
She suggested that anyone worried about missed mortgage payments should act right away.
“If you’re not sure the mortgage is getting paid, call the mortgage company.”
Amanda said that even if an ex-partner handles the payments, protecting the home should be the top priority.
“I love to shop, but I would never not pay my mortgage.”
According to Amanda, she told Dorit directly:
“You gotta pay your bills.”

Amanda also addressed speculation about a possible return for Season 16. Nothing has been decided. In fact, she admitted filming took a bigger toll on her than many people realize.
“It’s kind of a painful experience.”
She recalled taking a week-long break from filming and noticing an immediate difference.
“My brain turned back on.”
Amanda felt more creative, focused on her business, and present with her kids.
“I became myself again.”
That experience made her think about whether reality TV fits her life now.
Amanda Says Some Housewives Need The Show More Than Others
Amanda also spoke candidly about her castmates.
Without naming names, she suggested some women approach filming very differently.
“Those who need it are always trying to make sure they’re getting the camera time.”
She said that made it difficult to build authentic relationships.
“You feel like people are doing whatever they have to do for their strategy and their storyline and their takedown.”
Amanda said that being financially independent might have caused tension with some cast members.
Rihanna Reached Out About RHOBH
One of the more surprising revelations involved Rihanna.
Amanda said the superstar encouraged her to return to the show. Amanda thanked her but explained why she was hesitant.
“The environment was really hard on me. I don’t know if it’s something I want to do again.”
According to Amanda, Rihanna replied:
“I’m not taking sides.”
Amanda said many people assume her hesitation is about cast drama.
She sees it differently.
“We’re talking about whether I want to spend another year of my life doing whatever that just was.”
RHOBH: Dorit Responds
Dorit eventually heard about Amanda’s comments regarding the house. Her reaction was blunt.
“We don’t talk.”
Dorit was open about her feelings when asked about Amanda’s suggestion to buy the property.
“I find it really cringe.”
Dorit said she found it hard to connect with Amanda while filming. She felt she only saw a polished version of Amanda’s life.
“It was very much like, ‘Let me portray everything is absolutely perfect. My life is perfect. My marriage is perfect.'”
She added:
“Nobody has only perfect life.”

Dorit revealed that she initially thought she and Amanda could become friends. That changed after hearing claims that Amanda had criticized her behind her back. She also referenced a misunderstanding involving the anniversary of Amanda’s son’s passing.
“I would never ever have brought that up.”
The situation created lasting tension between them.
And Dorit made it clear she is not expecting Amanda to become her neighbor anytime soon.
“I don’t think that b**ch is going to be buying my house anytime soon.”
