Tamra Judge has a specific complaint about Heather Dubrow, and it comes down to who was actually in the room. Speaking on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Tamra addressed the fallout from her explosive fight with Shannon Beador during Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
“Heather’s going after me about this,” Tamra said. “But Heather wasn’t there when this went down. Heather was on the opposite side.”
Her theory about how Heather formed an opinion is straightforward. “So I’m assuming Shannon went over there and told them I was horrible to her.”
That is a fair objection on its face. Weighing in on a fight you did not see, based entirely on one participant’s retelling, is how small conflicts turn into cast-wide alliances. It also explains why Heather warned her castmates about “throwing stones” ahead of season 20.
Tamra Judge Disputes What Was Actually Said
Tamra pushed back on Shannon’s account of the argument, particularly the accusations that have circulated since.
“She says that I call her a drunk,” Tamra said. “I don’t remember calling her a drunk.” She allowed that she may have made a hand motion referencing Shannon’s drinking, but denied using the word itself. Then she flipped it: “I think she called me a drunk.”
She also disputed the reported line about Shannon’s personal life. “She’s saying, ‘You said I didn’t have a man or anything.’ I’m pretty sure I said, ‘I have a good life. I have a husband. I have kids in college.’ I guess she took it as she doesn’t have any of that.”
Those two versions are not as far apart as Tamra suggests. Listing your husband and your kids in college at a woman who has neither, during a screaming argument, lands the same way whether or not the insult is spelled out. Tamra’s phrasing may be technically accurate and still explain exactly why Shannon heard what she heard.
What Really Happened, According To Tamra
Tamra rejected the framing that the fight was her worst ever with Shannon. “I didn’t think it was that bad,” she said.
She also disputed reports that Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, and Lisa Barlow were stunned by the argument. She did concede one detail, though. Kyle Richards “made comments” about the RHOC women “screaming and yelling,” and Tamra confirmed that part was accurate.
Back in February, a source told the Daily Mail that the confrontation was “explosive,” claiming that “Tamra and Gizelle started poking at Shannon and of course she reacted as she always does, and then it just spiraled from there.” The insider added that the blowup caught everyone off guard at what was supposed to be a celebratory RHOC party. The fight was reportedly severe enough that Tamra and Shannon were not allowed to attend the RHUGT finale.
The Shady Theory About Shannon
Tamra saved her sharpest comment for where the friendship stands now. By her account, the two are actually doing fine, and Shannon is the one keeping that quiet.
“We move forward, then we move back, we move forward, then we move back,” Tamra said of their dynamic. “I feel like now we’re doing good, but I don’t think she wants anybody to know we’re doing good.”
Then came the line that will circulate. “Some people just act for the comments section of Instagram.”
She offered Shannon one out. “Unless she doesn’t want to give it away yet. It could be that, too. But I’m like, come on, they see us together and we’re photographed and we post pictures.”
Why This Friendship Keeps Stalling
The wreckage here goes back further than one trip. Their relationship cratered during season 18, when Tamra publicly criticized Shannon’s drinking after her DUI, then aligned herself with Alexis Bellino, who at the time was dating Shannon’s ex John Janssen and has since married him.
Tamra apologized in season 19. Shannon’s trust never fully returned, and Shannon has since said publicly that she needs to maintain a boundary despite pressure to rekindle the friendship.
That context makes Tamra’s “acting for the comments section” jab tricky. Shannon has already explained her boundary in her own words, and calling it performance for Instagram dismisses that explanation entirely. Whether Tamra is right that they are privately fine or Shannon is right that the distance is real, season 20 is about to show the audience which version holds up.
