Why a Full Reunion Still Is Not Happening
Mykelti made clear that the new season will not bring every family member together at once. She said most viewers will see a setup similar to season 20. This means three or four siblings will appear together, with possibly two adults at most.
According to Mykelti, the family still has healing to do, and while the siblings are willing to be around each other individually, getting everyone in the same room remains difficult.

Leon Brown remains the clearest no. In an interview with The Sarah Fraser Show, Mykelti said Leon would only consider appearing on a completely separate project focused on the Brown children, not on Sister Wives itself.

What is happening here is worth pointing out directly. The original draw of Sister Wives was Kody and his wives, and that dynamic has mostly collapsed. What remains is Mykelti talking about a season focused on Maddie’s farm project.
