Jenelle Evans has now been on both sides of a 911 call involving a partner. A call she placed against ex-husband David Eason last month has surfaced, and it bears a striking resemblance to a call made about her own conduct roughly two years earlier. The August Call Against David Eason
Evans and Eason had briefly reunited earlier this year before splitting again. According to audio obtained by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Evans called 911 from her Florida home in the early morning of August 18, asking for a police escort to get Eason to leave. She told the operator, “I have my ex-boyfriend here and he was here ‘coparenting’ with me. Now, um, we got into a little bit of an argument.” She explained that her name was on the lease and that Eason was refusing to go.
Evans has a no-contact order against Eason. She admitted on the call that it hasn’t stopped them from living together for months while they try to co-parent. She told the operator the argument began after Eason insulted her nine-year-old daughter. She called 911 quickly this time due to their history and her fear that things might get worse. Evans confirmed to responding officers that the dispute had remained verbal and had not turned physical. Officers found Eason walking near the home. He admitted to knowing about the no-contact order but said they had been living together for nearly a year. He was not arrested, but officers instructed him not to return to the property and advised Evans to formally transfer her existing order to Florida.
Evans later told Us Weekly that she felt officers “did not help me at all that day,” and said she had a digital copy of the order available on her phone despite the report noting she did not have it with her at the time. She also accepted some responsibility for the situation. She told the outlet she takes accountability “to a certain extent” for letting Eason back into her life.
A Similar Call Made About Her Two Years Earlier
The August incident is not the first time a 911 call involving Evans and a partner has become public. In August 2024, her then-boyfriend, August Keen, called 911 from Las Vegas and told dispatchers Evans had been drinking and had hit him, and that he wanted a police escort so he could gather his things and leave for the night. He also alleged Evans tried to prevent him from leaving by taking his keys. Police responded, but no charges were filed. Keen later addressed the leaked audio in an Instagram statement, saying he has “zero tolerance” for domestic violence and would not have stayed in a situation he considered dangerous, framing the call instead as an effort to ensure a safe end to a disagreement. Keen and Evans broke up months later, and he later sought a restraining order against her. Both Evans and Keen have separately accused the other of taking their credit card after their respective breakups.
Two Calls, One Pattern Worth Noticing
Whatever actually happened in either of these situations, the parallel between the two calls is hard to ignore. Evans is asking for protection in the recent case. In the earlier case, he was the subject of the allegation. Both disputes involved someone wanting to leave a shared living space. The other person allegedly tried to stop them or take their things.
