Mallorie finally told Rasit the truth she had been sitting on, and it landed harder than almost anything else this season. In a recent 90 Day Fiancé episode, she admitted she is not sure she wants children, a confession she had been avoiding out of fear of exactly the reaction she got.
“Well, but what if I tell you that I’m not sure if I want to have kids? Like, I don’t wanna have, as of right now, I don’t wanna have a baby,” she told him.
She was honest about where the doubt comes from. Mallorie said she does not know how to be a mother and is not convinced she would be a good one. When Rasit questioned why she was thinking so negatively, she pushed back on that framing directly, saying she was being realistic, not negative. That distinction matters. Uncertainty about parenting is not pessimism, and reducing it to one is part of what made this conversation so hard for her to have in the first place.
Why She Waited So Long To Say It
Mallorie explained that the topic came up with her bridal party before the wedding, and their advice pushed her to finally be honest with Rasit.
“The girls and I had a conversation, like, at the bridal shop, and it was a topic that, like, the girls were telling me, like, you know, you need to tell him the truth before the wedding. But I’m just scared that this topic is so important to you that you may not want to marry me,” she said.
That fear turned out to be justified. Rasit has talked openly this season about wanting a family, at one point showing off toys and baby clothes he had already bought for a future child. Mallorie was not just revealing uncertainty. She was revealing uncertainty about something Rasit had already built real excitement around.
Rasit’s Reaction
Rasit did not hide his shock or his anger. He comes from a large family and said his parents are hoping to see grandchildren. He tried to leave room for her feelings to change, asking whether she might feel differently in a couple of years. Mallorie could not promise that. She admitted it might happen, and it might not.
That uncertainty set him off. “I am very confused. Two years, each other knows everything. But she tell me now after I left Turkey. This is bulls**t. If I am in Turkey, if you tell me before this, I don’t come here. I don’t want to marry you,” he said in his confessional, before walking out of the conversation. Mallorie was left afraid he might leave and return to Turkey for good.
The Ultimatum
The fallout continued into the next conversation, where Rasit revealed he had talked the situation over with his brother.
“I told him Mallory don’t want to baby. My brother say why she didn’t tell before America. They are right baby,” he said.
Mallorie agreed she should have told him sooner, explaining she wanted to have the conversation in person, when it felt right rather than rushed. Rasit was not fully convinced that explanation held up, telling her he now had no idea whether she truly loved him, since her actions felt like a lack of trust to him.
He brought up an old wound to make his point: the prenup she had asked him to sign. Mallorie countered by pointing to everything she had already done for him. “I did all of this for you. I did the whole visa process to bring it for you. So that doesn’t show you that I love you?” she asked.
Rasit’s answer was the ultimatum fans had been building toward all episode. “I feel very sad. I feel very bad. I feel very like, but if you don’t, if you don’t want a baby, I will cut this relationship.”
An Old Fault Line Made This Worse
The kids conversation did not happen in a vacuum. Mallorie had already asked Rasit to sign a prenup, a request rooted in her own history. She grew up watching her parents divorce and later survived what she has described as a toxic marriage before meeting Rasit, experiences that shaped her instinct to protect what she has built on her own.
