RHOBH: Brandi Glanville Surgery Explained: What Doctors Will Look For

Brandi Glanville has a surgery date. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said on her Unfiltered podcast that she is having exploratory facial surgery on Friday to find out what is behind her symptoms. She says she is excited and scared.

What She Shared

Glanville, 53, explained the plan on the Thursday, October 22 episode with co-host James Maas. A surgeon who came highly recommended will explore under the skin of her face. She says he found two spots he believes could be either fungal balls or something alive. She believes it is alive. Her doctor has not said that publicly, and results have not been shared.

She was open about her feelings. She said she is super excited and “scared to death,” since she has never had facial surgery. She said her surgeon told her this procedure is more intensive than a facelift. On X the same day, she wrote that she is super nervous about the surgery and about how her face will look afterward. “Health is wealth and that’s all I truly want,” she added.

How She Got Here

Glanville has searched for answers for about four years. In September she shared several diagnoses, including bacterial and fungal infections, Valley fever, a skin condition, and mononucleosis. She also said she has a fungal ball in her face that needs removal. She said earlier this month that she has a daily IV schedule that keeps her home most of the day.

What Comes Next

Exploratory surgery means doctors look first and decide later. Glanville may learn more on Friday, or she may need further tests. She has made every step public, from the diagnoses to the fundraiser, so it is likely she will share what happens. Until she does, the best approach is to wait for the results instead of guessing.
