Lili Reinhart just showed that love can start on TikTok, even with some playful trolling.
The Riverdale star appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show. She shared how she met her boyfriend on a dating app. A fun video led to their real-life love story.
“Is it true that you met a man on TikTok?” Drew asked, clearly intrigued.
“I did,” Lili replied with a grin. “Oh my God. I met the man on TikTok.”
The crowd erupted, and Drew couldn’t help but press for details.
“How did you guys find each other out there in that ocean of vastness?” Drew said.
“He made a video making fun of Riverdale,” Lili revealed. “So we ended up following each other… and then I DMed him.”

Lili laughed as she admitted she was the one who reached out first.
“I usually, in my 20s, was the one making the moves,” she said.
Drew jumped in: “At 50, I’ve gone backwards! I used to make the first move and now I’m like, oh no.”
But Lili’s response had everyone nodding in agreement.
“What do you have to lose? Someone that isn’t even in your life yet?” she said.

Lili went on to share that their first date was straight out of a rom-com.
“We went on our first date and it lasted a whole weekend,” she said. “It was a very quick ‘I love you.’ Not that weekend, that would’ve been a little much, but it happened very quickly.”
She added, “He instantly became my best friend, and still is to this day. They say you should be with your best friend and I am.”
