Sister Wives: Christine Brown and David Woolley Weigh In on Why Kody Walked Away

David Woolley is not shocked that Kody Brown walked away. In a Instagram Christine Brown posted on Wednesday, October 7, her husband said he understands why Kody quit Sister Wives. In David’s view, Kody quit on his family first. The reason Kody and Robyn actually left remains unknown.

What David Said

David spoke about Season 21, the first season without Kody and Robyn. “I can understand why he quit,” he told Christine, according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. He said Kody had also quit on his wives and his children. In David’s opinion, Kody had an obligation as a husband and father and did not meet it. “I didn’t expect anything different,” he said.

David admitted that nobody outside the couple knows the true reason. People have guessed at money and other motives. His own guess is that Kody and Robyn simply did not want to deal with the ex-wives anymore.

Christine’s Theory

Christine added her own view. She said she believes Kody left once he could no longer control what she and the other wives said and did. David agreed. This is Christine’s opinion. Kody has not said it, and he has not explained his exit.

David has not been quiet about Kody before. During Season 20’s apology tour, he told Kody to “start with your kids,” according to AOL. Kody pushed back at the time. Kody has said before that he is estranged from many of his children.

Kody and Robyn’s Side

Neither Kody nor Robyn has commented on David’s remarks. They have also not said why they left. At the Season 20 tell-all, Kody said he was not yet at peace with the end of his marriages. He said he wants the hurt to end and wants everyone to move on. Robyn said forgiveness is a personal journey, and she stayed on her husband’s side.
