Rick Van Vactor was reportedly arrested after an alleged physical confrontation with his girlfriend. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alum has not commented. The reports so far come from fan blogs, not from police or court statements, and the allegations are unproven.
90 Day Fiancé: What Has Been Reported
On October 29, the 90 Day Fiancé blog KiKi and Kibbitz said Van Vactor was reportedly arrested on October 28 after an alleged physical confrontation with his current girlfriend, as TV Insider summarized it. The blog said he was released on bail. It also reminded readers that all allegations remain unproven and an arrest does not mean someone is guilty.
A California custody record lists a Douglas Van Vactor, 53, as out of custody after bonding out, with an update dated October 27. Rick appeared on the show under that name. The record lists the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as the reporting agency, but it does not show the charges or the circumstances, as Complex noted. We have not been able to confirm the arrest with police or a court. Footage that has circulated online has not been verified, so we are not describing it.
90 Day Fiancé: Who He Is
Fans met Rick, a divorced father from California, on Season 8 of Before the 90 Days. He traveled to Madagascar to meet Trisha Stiley. Their relationship ended after he admitted to being with an ex during a time he thought she had ghosted him. He said in April 2026 that he was dating someone new. Reports suggest that relationship has ended, but nothing is confirmed.
90 Day Fiancé: What Is Still Unknown
Nobody has confirmed the charges, if there are any. The woman involved has not been publicly identified, and she should not be. Rick has not responded. A formal charge, a court date, or a statement from him or the sheriff would change what can be said. Until then, an arrest is only an arrest.
