Years after leaving RHOC, Kelly Dodd still discusses the pandemic and its aftermath.

In a recent chat on Jamie Kennedy’s podcast, the former Orange County Housewife shared her thoughts on leaving the show. She also discussed her bold views during COVID and a choice that still troubles her.

The biggest shock was when Kelly said she got a COVID vaccine. This was surprising since she had publicly criticized vaccine mandates during the pandemic.

“I f***ing caved.”

Kelly Says She Believes COVID Cost Her A Spot On RHOC

Kelly said to Jamie Kennedy that her actions during the pandemic influenced Bravo’s choice to part ways with her.

“In my fifth year, they fired me because of COVID.”

She remembered traveling a lot. She refused to wear masks and often criticized the restrictions in place.

“I was anti-mask, anti-vax, anti-everything.”

Kelly has made similar claims before. However, Bravo has never confirmed that her departure was linked to her COVID comments.

Kelly said she got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine while in the Bahamas, even though she had a different public stance.

Kelly said she made the decision while on a yacht owned by Fletcher Jones.

“He kind of made me do it.”

Kelly also revealed that her husband, Rick Leventhal, received the vaccine as well.

She said she initially viewed it as similar to getting a flu shot.

Years later, she says she still regrets the decision.

“I can’t believe I took it.”
