The comments came in an interview with Inked, which TV Shows Room covered. Sarper said he would ideally like “a clean neck again.” The memories can stay, he added. Those live in his mind.
He also explained why he got the tattoo in the first place. He was in love and wanted something permanent. He chose his neck because it shows. He wanted people to see his commitment. Red was part of the plan, since lips, love, and passion are all red. Then he made a joke at his own expense: nobody told him red is also the color of warning signs.
Removal or Cover-Up?
Sarper has no plan yet. During the Last Resort Tell-All, Shekinah told him red ink cannot be removed. He wants to check whether newer technology can change that, and he says he will speak with specialists first. A cover-up is possible too, but he is wary of it. He joked that he could end up with a giant dragon on his neck.
He is careful about how he describes the tattoo. It was a real symbol of his love at the time, he said, and he does not want to disrespect that.
Where the Marriage Stands
The marriage has been falling apart in public for months. After the Last Resort recommitment ceremony, Shekinah accused Sarper of recommitting out of pity and of using the show to promote his comedy career. Sarper denied choosing fame or money over her.
